CIL Chairman exhorts CCL to achieve production target
Coal India Limited (CIL), Chairman, Pramod Agarwal on Wednesday presided over a review of Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) at Darbhanga House in the State Capital and directed concerned officials to achieve the target set by the Company in coal production for the ongoing financial year.
Coal India has set its target to produce 1 Billion Tonnes (BT) of coal in the financial year 2023-24. Thirteen mines of CCL have been identified for contribution in the ambitious projection of 1 BT plan of CIL. Agarwal in his review meeting took stock of progress of each 13 open-cast mines, which are spread out in eight districts of Jharkhand so that to maximise the production to achieve the target set for the financial year.
