CIAL records a profit of Rs 37.68 crore in FY 2021-22
KOCHI: Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) has made a strong comeback from the impact of the Covid pandemic on the aviation sector as the airport recorded a profit (before tax) of Rs 37.68 crore.
In the FY 2020-21, CIAL suffered a loss of Rs. 87.21 cr. during the FY 2020-21. Compared to the turnover of Rs. 252.71cr in FY 2020-21, the company made a turnover of Rs. 418.69 cr during FY 2021-22; registering an operating profit of Rs. 217.34 Cr.
The meeting of the board of directors led by CIAL chairman and chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan was held at Thiruvananthapuram on Monday. The meeting decided to hold the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of CIAL shareholders on September26.
