Chhatra Cong protests rising fuel prices

The Pradesh Chhatra Congress on Monday staged a demonstration and burnt effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at Master Canteen Square protesting against the continuous hike in prices of petroleum products. Chhatra Congress workers stopped the traffic for an hour raising slogans against the Modi Government at the Centre and the Patnaik Government in the State holding them responsible for the spiraling prices of essential commodities and petroleum products.

Chhatra Congress State president Yshir Nawaz said the price of petrol was Rs 70 when per barrel crude oil price was Rs 101-130. After the Modi Government came to powe,r prices of petroleum products and essential commodities are skyrocketing.
