Chennai rain: Fewer suburban trains to be run on Friday
CHENNAI: Southern Railway will operate fewer suburban trains in Chennai on Friday due to rain.
Trains on Chennai Central – Arakkonam, Chennai Central – Gummidipoondi/Sullurupeta, Chennai Beach – Chengalpet and Chennai Beach – Velachery sections will be operated based on Sunday’s schedule.
The frequency of services will be 30 minutes to 45 minutes during peak hours.
