The initiative was launched via the Paytm app in August 2023. It has revolutionised the ticketing experience by offering a seamless and hassle-free approach to purchasing metro tickets.
20% discount on Chennai Metro’s QR code-based tickets
It may be noted that the Chennai Metro Rail Ltd (CMRL) has an ongoing partnership with Paytm to provide an exclusive 20% discount on all QR code-based tickets booked through the Paytm app.
