Chennai Metro Rail to extend peak hour train services on Friday evening
CHENNAI: Chennai Metro Rail will extend evening peak hour train services till 10pm on Friday to cater to people leaving the city for the extended weekend.
The extended peak hour services will have trains operated for every six minutes instead of nine minutes on both the corridors.
CMRL regularly operates peak hour services from 8am to 11am and 5pm to 8pm daily.
The extended peak hour services will be in force only on September 15.
