Chennai Airport: Several flights delayed or diverted today due to low visibility
Four flights were diverted from Chennai International Airport today morning due to poor visibility caused by extreme fog. Chennaiites woke up to a foggy morning on Saturday with a nearly-zero visibility in some parts of the city. This was the second day when a blanket of thick fog covered several parts Chennai leading to temporary halts in flight arrivals and departures.
Ten flights were delayed this morning, reported news agency ANI.
Several flights of IndiGo, SpiceJet, Vistara, Air India were either delayed or diverted on Friday as well due to low visibility near the Chennai Airport.
