C’garh plans to promote solar energy: Bhagat

Chhattisgarh is planning to boost the use of solar energy in the state, State Planning, Economic and Statistics Minister Amarjeet Bhagat said on Thursday.

The Minister asked the officials to chalk out a plan to promote solar energy. He was chairing a review meeting of Chhattisgarh State Planning Commission works held at the State Secretariat, Mahanadi Bhawan Nava Raipur, an official communiqué said.

In the present scenario, there are chances that the established industrial houses of developed countries may invest in Chhattisgarh, he added.

For this, human resources needed to be developed so that more and more unemployed youths get jobs, the Minister said.
