CFO on Suzlon Energy rights issue, debt repayment and order book

“The good part about our rights is because the end use is purely debt repayment, there is no minimum threshold that we need to get a subscription of. Even if we do not get the entire Rs 1,200 crore as part of the rights and get an amount lower than that, we could still take those funds, close the rights issue and repay the debt to that extent,” says Himanshu Mody, CFO, Suzlon Energy NSE -2.88 %
