Central Railway’s Mumbai megablock: Thane–Kalyan fast lines shut; major service diversions today
MUMBAI: Central Railway’s Mumbai Division is undertaking a megablock on its Main Line suburban sections today to carry out various engineering and maintenance works.
The block will be in place on the Up and Down fast lines between Thane and Kalyan stations from 10.40am to 3.40pm.
Down Fast/Semi-Fast local services departing CSMT Mumbai until 3.03pm will be diverted to the Down Slow line between Thane and Kalyan, halting at Kalva, Mumbra and Diva in addition to their scheduled stops. These trains will reach their destinations about 10 minutes later than scheduled.
