CCL surpasses previous year’s production figures
Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), a Jharkhand-based subsidiary of Coal India Ltd (CIL) surpassed the previous fiscal coal production of 62.59 Million Tonnes (MT) on March 16, 2022 and produced 62.90 MT of raw coal. The company attained this feat with 15 days remaining in the current fiscal 2021-22.
Under the leadership of Union Coal Minister Pralhad Joshi and guidance of Chairman, CIL Pramod Agarwal, CCL’s production is in upward trend. The company is also getting full support from Jharkhand Government as well as stakeholders for meeting energy requirement of the Nation.
CMD CCL PM Prasad expressed his delight on the performance of the company. He further stated that CCL is committed to ensure that there is no dearth of coal supply in the power plants, spread out in different parts of the country.
