CCL attains best ever coal production in 1ST quarter 2022
Central Coalfields Limited(CCL) broke all the previous records to attain the best ever first quarter performance since its inception. The company recorded a production of 15.68 MT Coal production and dispatched 20.08 MT coal during the first quarter(April-June) of current fiscal 2022-23. The overburden removal also stood at 29.12 Million Cubic Meter (MCuM) during the first quarter of the ongoing financial year.
CCL’s coal production and other parameters are on an upward trend under the able leadership of CMD PM Prasad and guidance of all Directors and committed to meet energy requirements of the Nation.
Spread across eight districts of Jharkhand, CCL is one of the largest employers in Jharkhand and also undertakes numerous initiatives under its CSR for the welfare of the people of Jharkhand.
