The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) sleuths of anti-corruption wing (ACB) simultaneously conducted the search at New Delhi, Dhanbad and Bokaro based properties of Kalyan Prasad, an ex-General Manager of BCCL on Tuesday.
In an ongoing probe relating to allegedly disproportionate asset (DA) case and several corruption charges against Prasad, CBI sleuths conducted search operations at six locations in Dhanbad and six locations in Bokaro at Jharkhand and over three locations in Delhi, said an official.
Several cases were earlier registered against Prasad under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 alleging therein that the accused public servant, during his service period, had amassed huge movable and immovable assets an estimated worth several crores of rupees which were disproportionate to his known sources of income, said the official on anonymity.
