CBI books civil aviation official in Port Blair in DA case

Chennai: The central bureau of investigation (CBI) has booked a deputy director in the directorate general of civil aviation (DGCA) in Port Blair on charges of accumulating assets disproportionate to his income.

According to the FIR, accused N Ravichandran purchased both movable and immovable properties in his and wife Sujatha’s name, disproportionate to his known sources of income during the period 2010 to 2019. The CBI said Ravichandran had assets worth 20 lakh during 2010.
