Cabinet nod to construction of highways, bus terminal

The Jharkhand Government’s Cabinet meeting was held at Project Bhawan on Thursday, where 30 proposals were approved. Most of the Cabinet proposals were related to various departments such as construction of highways, government buildings and others. In one of the major policy decisions, the Jharkhand Mineral Development Corporation Limited was given the extension of operation of Category II sand ghats in the state for the next three years.

The cabinet also gave its nod to construction of four lanes Ranchi- Purulia Road from Namkom ROB to Sangra, in which the government will spend Rs 181.73 crore. Similarly, Rs 111.35 crore plans have been approved for four lanes of Bargai Lem Bodeya Road in Bariatu.
