Budget 2024: FAME subsidies slashed by more than 55 per cent. What it means for EV buyers

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today presented the Interim Budget 2024. There was no announcement about FAME III scheme, instead, the FM went on to slash the overall allocation for the Faster Adoption & Manufacturing of Electric Vehicles (FAME) scheme by huge 55 per cent.
