BSES inks MoU with AI company Bidgely for reducing power theft

The BSES on Thursday signed a Memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Bidgely, a global artificial intelligence (AI)-powered solutions company to develop AI-based solutions to detect and check the theft of electricity rampant across the network for further reduction in Aggregate Technical & Commercial (AT&C) losses.

According to a senior BSES official, BSES has been at the forefront of driving energy efficiency, energy conservation and digital transformation by deploying emerging technologies.“Initially this will be implemented in the identified BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL) areas of South and West Delhi, the program may also be rolled-out in East and Central Delhi depending on the results,” he informed.
