BPCL uses digital platform for unification of its customer base

Kolkata: PSU oil giant Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) is using its digital platform for unification of its customer base. Rahul Tandon, head corporate and digital strategy of BPCL, told TOI that the oil biggie is planning to cross-sell products among its customers from various verticals.

BPCL has seven strategic business units that include both B2B and B2c segments. It intends to cross-sell products between LPG, petroleum and lubricant customers.

“We can differentiate our offerings through digital interventions to the loyal customers,” he added. The oil PSU has 8.5 crore customers in LPG and across the country while in its petrol pumps get 1.5 crore customers every day. BPCL has 19,000 petrol pumps nationally.
