Boost for ‘Make In India’ – L&T partners US-based General Atomics for unmanned Aircraft Systems

Larsen and Toubro (L&T) has partnered with the US-based General Atomics Aeronautical Systems for the manufacturing of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems. The company said that the unmanned aircraft systems will be manufactured entirely in India.

L&T stated that, under its partnership with General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, the company will participate in the upcoming 87 Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems programme of the Ministry of Defence, where it will be the prime bidder and General Atomics Aeronautical Systems will be the technology partner.
