Boeing 737MAX saga: Missing washer found in one aircraft, says DGCA

Indian aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Tuesday said that during the inspection of 39 of the under-fire Boeing 737MAX fleet in India, a missing washer was found in one of the aircraft.

However, it was rectified as per Boeing’s recommendation prior to the release of this aircraft. “Inspection on the aircraft will be completed prior to release for service,” it said.
