BJP takes a dig at Finance Minister’s statement on VAT

BJP State President cum Rajya Sabha MP Deepak Prakash has criticized Jharkhand Finance Minister Rameshwar Oraon’s statement expressing his inability to reduce VAT on petrol and diesel. Prakash said that the Finance cum Food Supplies Minister of the State says that why should the State bear this extra burden? His statement is completely ridiculous and shameful.

Prakash has said that the Jharkhand government has no shortage of funds for luxury vehicles and luxurious bungalows for CM and ministers, nor is it extravagant. The purchase of gleaming and new luxury vehicles like Mercedes Benz, Land Rover Discovery, BMW etc for the Chief Minister and Ministers is not an extra expenditure in the eyes of the government,
