Bilaspur Train Accident: MEMU train coach collides with goods train in Chhattisgarh; seven dead
At least seven people were killed and 14 others injured after a MEMU (Mainline Electric Multiple Unit) passenger train collided with a goods train near Bilaspur railway station in Chhattisgarh around 4 pm on Tuesday.
The MEMU train, travelling from Gevra in neighbouring Korba district to Bilaspur, rammed into a goods train moving in the same direction between Gatora and Bilaspur stations, railway officials confirmed.
