Bids floated for Gujarat Airport consultant
NEW DELHI: The Centre on Thursday floated bids to appoint a consultant for the proposed Dholera Greenfield International Airport near Ahmedabad, kick-starting the process of setting up a second international airport in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s home state.
The project, which has been in the works since the time Modi was Gujarat chief minister, will see an airport come up in Navagam village near Ahmedabad where Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport is.
