The CNG network in Bengaluru is set for a major expansion with 12 new CNG stations set to come up soon.
At present, eight CNG stations are operational and 12 more will be opened within a month, a press statement from GAIL Gas said.
The strengthening of the CNG network will add to the building of eco-friendly mobility network in the city. In order to make the clean fuel easily available in the densely populated zone of the city, the company has also partnered with the major oil marketing companies and is dispensing CNG From the retail outlets of BPCL, IOCL and HPCL in the city.
