Bengaluru: Railway timetable changed; many miss train
BENGALURU: Many passengers set to take 16331 Mumbai CST-Thiruvananthapuram Express complained that they missed the train after the railways failed to inform them of the change in timings, which came into effect on October 1.
Harsha K, a passenger, wrote on Twitter on Monday: “Train 16631 was scheduled to depart at 5.05pm, how did you allow the departure 45 minutes earlier from KR Puram station without any intimation to passengers.”
“The train’s scheduled departure was at 5pm today and many missed the train because of early departure without update or notification. Please refund the amount for all passengers. There is no point in sending the revised time table after the departure, citizens have missed the train,” he added.
