Bengaluru: ‘Expedite Railway automatic signalling’
BENGALURU: Rail activists on Saturday demanded that the automatic block signalling (ABS) work in Bengaluru division be expedited.
Commuter rail activist Sanjeev Dyamannavar met Union railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw at the KIA halt station and informed him that the proposal for ABS across Bengaluru division has been pending for four years.
Vaishnaw enquired with the railway officials about trains running on the Devanahalli line and further going up to Chikkaballapur. He remarked that eight trains on the airport route (Devanahalli line) were insufficient and instructed the railways to run more services.
