Bengaluru Airport commissions India’s first disabled aircraft recovery equipment
The international airport in Bengaluru on Tuesday commissioned the disabled aircraft recovery equipment, becoming the first airport in India and South Asia to own the modern kit that will enable faster resumption of operations during aircraft incidents on the runways.
The Kunz GmbH-manufactured recovery kit was virtually inaugurated by the airport chief executive Hari Marar. Kunz GmbH managing director Andreas Fuge and Millennium Aero Dynamics chairman Milan R Zatakia were present.
