Bengaluru: 7 fuel outlets to come up at BMTC depots

BENGALURU: The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) on Wednesday floated a tender for the installation and commissioning of retail fuel outlets by PSU oil companies on its land to generate commercial revenue.
Seven locations have been identified for the project — Jayanagar bus depot, Kathriguppe depot, Deepanjali Nagar bus depot, Chikkabettahalli, Puttenahalli in Yelahanka (vacant land), Kengeri (vacant land in front of depot) and Nagarbhavi 10th block 2nd stage (vacant land).
The successful bidders will be allowed to set up new fuel outlets, CNG filling stations, EV charging stations, bank ATMs and food courts.
