BBMP’s tip: Ramp up the flyover work

Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) wrote a letter to Embassy Group — the private firm funding the construction of flyover on the Outer Ring road, near Manyata Tech Park, which is nearing completion — asking it to build a ramp on each side of the flyover to help ease traffic congestion locally.

The Palike wrote this letter after taking into consideration a request from residents. It is said that the company is unlikely to get a completion certificate for the flyover works unless it agrees to fulfill these terms.

It may be recalled that the 900-metre long flyover with two access ramps to Manyata Tech Park was funded fully by the same private firm.
