Baghjan gas well inferno: Killing operation of gas producing well by the snubbing unit to commence in the next couple of days
Guwahati: OIL NSE 1.11 % India Limited (OIL) stated that killing operation of gas producing well in Baghjan by the snubbing unit will commence within next couple of days
The gas producing well blew out on May 27. It exploded into a massive inferno on June 9. OILalso plans to come up with relief well in the vicinity.
The snubbing unit which has been brought from Calgary, Canada reached Baghjan well site on wednesday.
