Baghel urges Centre to ensure regular supply of petrol, diesel

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel in a letter to Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri urged him to ensure adequate and regular supply of petrol and diesel across the state.

Through the letter, Baghel pointed out that farmers and common people of state are facing difficulty as there has been a shortage since the last 1-2 months. Due to which many petrol pumps in many districts have become dry, an official communication said.

He stated that a delegation of the Chhattisgarh Petroleum Dealer Welfare Association had raised the issue that 750 retail outlets of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited in the state were closed due to the shortage in the supply of petrol and diesel.
