Aviation one of the more remarkable success stories during pandemic: Hardeep Singh Puri

Civil aviation has been one of the more remarkable success stories during the pandemic and the reason is that we were able to take some measures like the price band, said Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri at the Times Network India Economic Conclave 2021 in a Q&A with Navika Kumar. COVID-19 has been especially harsh on the civil aviation sector in the sense that people were not travelling the entire lockdown. Are you seeing any sites of sunrise for aviation?

The pandemic has affected all sectors. Civil aviation stands out as a sector which got its act together and the government was able to use the lockdown in order to do some essential things required to deal with the pandemic.
