Average bill to power consumers this month

The second Covid wave has affected meter reading by the Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Corp Ltd (CSPDCL) and the company has now decided to levy an average bill for March.

The company decided that the average bill must be such that no additional burden will be there for the consumers.

Managing Director Harsh Gautam said in a communique that the average bill must be near the monthly bills the consumers were paying.

Consumers who want actual billing can upload their meter reading in the ‘Mor Bijli’ app.

In the next month, the reading will be adjusted and the benefit of ‘half power tariff’ in the consumption slab will be maintained.
