Indian Railways has resumed the Neral-Matheran train services starting today. These iconic mini train services are being managed and operated by the Central Railway (CR) zone. Annually, these train services are temporarily halted during the monsoon season, from June to October, owing to safety precautions.
However, the services between Matheran and Aman Lodge continue to operate during this period. “Services on Neral–Matheran NG line will resume with effect from November 04, 2023,” Central Railway said in a statement.
