At Rs 13,656 crore, RIL profit registers 0.20 pc dip in Q2
Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) on Friday posted a 0.20 decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 13,656 crore for the second quarter (Q2) ended September 2022 as against Rs 13,680 crore for the same period of last year. The Q2 profit declined by 24 per cent from Rs 17.955 crore in the June quarter.
Gross revenue rose by 32.55 per cent to Rs 236,377 crore for the quarter as against Rs 178,328 crore a year ago. “The government of India imposed special additional excise duty (SAED) on export of transportation fuels with effect from July 1, 2022 resulting in an adverse impact on the profit for the quarter determined at Rs 4,039 crore,” RIL said.
