Aspirants take protest to Railway tracks in Nangloi

More than a dozen military aspirants on Thursday stopped a train at outer Delhi’s Nangloi Railway Station by lying down on the tracks in protest against the Centre’s ‘Agnipath’ scheme.

According to the police, around 15-20 people gathered at the station around 9.45 A.M. to protest against the delay in the Railway recruitment examinations and against the Agnipath scheme.

They stopped a train which was bound for Old Delhi from Jind in Haryana, police said.

Police and GRP staff reached the spot immediately and asked the protesters to vacate the railway track peacefully.
