Ashram extension flyover to open in Nov
Marred by several delays, the traffic chaos around Ashram Chowk and the Maharani Bagh area, one of the busiest parts of the Ring Road in the national Capital, will continue for at least two more months as the Delhi Government’s Public Works Department (PWD) has now fixed November for the opening of the extension of the Ashram flyover up to Delhi-Noida Direct (DND) flyway. According to officials, the flyover will be completed by November.
The previous deadline of the project was September. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Saturday conducted an on sight inspection to assess the progress of construction works. He instructed the engineers to install additional cranes and double the speed of work,
