Ashok Leyland HAL may be added to MSCI India Standard Index

Global index services provider MSCI is likely to include Ashok Leyland and Hindustan Aeronautics in its India Standard Index.

Brokerage firm Emkay said, “We have assessed the probable changes to the MSCI India Standard Index assuming a price cut-off date of 23rd March 2023. We expect two potential inclusions in the Standard Index in this review — Ashok Leyland and Hindustan Aeronautics — as both qualify on size and liquidity criteria till March 23rd.”
