APTRANSCO to withdraw connectivity nod for 98MW wind projects

BENGALURU: In another twist to the face-off between the Andhra Pradesh government and renewable energy developers, the state-owned transmission company, APTRANSCO, has decided to withdraw connectivity approval to wind projects for 98MW in the state.

A note from APTRANSCO chairman to its chief engineer said excess capacity connectivity approvals had been given to 98MW of wind generators at Uravakonda substation. “After careful examination of the vigilance report, it is decided to remove the irregular connections and loads,” the memo, dated September 14, said.
