An oily despair: For first time, Indian consumers are facing full brunt of rise in crude prices
Crude oil prices have been on a tear for a while now. And unlike the surges of the past decade, the consumer this time is bearing almost the entire brunt.
Interestingly, the extent of the rebound from on-year lows this time is far stronger than in fiscals 2011 and 2012 (over 2010), when Brent crude prices had pierced past $100 per barrel.
