AMU Engineering students design hybrid vehicle
Energy efficiency can improve the economic competitiveness of countries and businesses, as well as reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve the quality of life. Having realised the growing demand for alternative energy sources, Green Warriors, a team of Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology (ZHCET), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) students designed a hybrid vehicle that can be operated by charging the battery through non-conventional methods. The car has an intelligent system for pothole and hump identification on roads, ADAS and other e-Mobility systems.
Green Warriors members, Arquam Hashim Siddiquie (Captain), Mohammad Zain (Vice Captain), Adiitya Kumar Singh (Treasurer), Jyoti Kumari (Manager), Aryan Varshney, Yash Singhal, Aakash Gupta, Prasun Jain, Tahseen Mirza, Sarfaraz Ibrahimi and M Anas Habib presented the vehicle design at the Virtual Efficycle 2020 organised by the Society of Automotive Engineers India,
