Amrit Bharat Station Scheme: Modi to lay foundation stone for redevelopment of 28 stations in 3 states, says Eastern Railway

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the redevelopment project for 28 railway stations in West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Bihar today under the ‘Amrit Bharat Station Scheme,’ as announced by Eastern Railway’s General Manager, Milind K Deouskar. The estimated cost for the redevelopment of these stations is Rs 704 crore.

550 stations to be transformed under Amrit Bharat

In a press briefing at the Eastern Railway headquarters, Deouskar revealed that this initiative is part of the larger plan to transform 550 Amrit Bharat stations and enhance facilities across railway stations.
