Airlines ready flights for a post-Covid world

Life after lockdown
As Modi extended the ongoing 21-day lockdown for another 19 days, India will now be restricted to their homes till May 3rd. However, India’s airlines are already preparing to resume operations keeping in mind social distancing rules–even at 30,000 ft above sea level!

Here is how India’s top airlines, IndiGo and SpiceJet, are preparing for life after lockdown…

No word of time of departure
Even though the Centre has given no specific date for operational revival, airline majors have prepared extensive blueprints and tested new protocols which will be used as and when operations commence.

As of now, all flights have been banned till May 3rd.
