Air services hit! Dense fog reduces visibility, several flights delayed at Delhi airport amid cold wave

Several flights were delayed on Sunday (January 14) morning after visibility at Indira Gandhi International Airport dropped to 0 metres due to the formation of very dense fog. A dense blanket of fog enveloped the national capital, causing disruptions in rail, air and traffic movement on a bitterly cold Sunday.

Bad weather conditions led to the diversion of nine flights at Delhi airport today morning, as confirmed by an official. During the period from 4:30 am to 7:30 am, these flights, including an international flight, were diverted to Jaipur.
