Air India launches non-stop flight from Mumbai to San Francisco

MUMBAI: Air India launched its first-ever non-stop service between Mumbai and San Francisco on Thursday, a week after its launch of thrice weekly between Bengaluru to San Francisco.

The first flight AI 179 from Mumbai to San Francisco left Mumbai on time at 2.30 pm and is expected to arrive in San

Francisco at 5 pm (local time) the same day. Air India in a statement said that it will continue to develop Mumbai as an important hub for international as well as domestic traffic.
