Air India gets DGCA approval for engineering line maintenance of A350 & A320 aircraft

Air India on Friday said that the airline has received the Directorate General of Civil Aviation’s (DGCA) approval for engineering line maintenance of A350 and A320 aircraft. The clearance implies smooth operation and maintenance of the six A350 aircraft which is set to join the Air India fleet soon.

The first one is expected to land by the end of December, the airline informed.

Apart from this approval, DGCA has also certified the Tata owned airline’s engineers for attending to any work related to the maintenance of A350 aircraft.
