Air connectivity to Uttar Pradesh up three times in last two years: Yogi Government

New Delhi: Did you know that you can now fly to Goa straight from Lucknow and to Srinagar and Jammu? Or that you can take a flight from Varanasi directly to Jaipur and Chennai as well as to Bangkok? There is a lot happening in the air in Uttar Pradesh with private players flocking here.

The air connectivity to UP has increased 3-fold in the last two years, with as many as 53 connections now to domestic destinations from six functional airports in the state, against just 17 connections two years back, the state government told the Uttar Pradesh Assembly on Monday. The BJP government put forward the comparison to show how it had improved air connectivity in UP after coming to power in 2017.
