AG&P (Atlantic, Gulf and Pacific Company of Manila), which has won the rights to create a network and deliver natural gas in 28 districts in India, foresees investments close to $1.3 billion.
“Investment by AG&P will be substantial and in a phased manner as construction of the infrastructure gets underway, with a projected investment of $1.3 billion,” said PPG Sarma, Managing Director, City Gas Distribution and Logistics, AG&P.
The company will set up City Gas Distribution (CGD) network in Chikmagalur, Mysore, Bagalkot, Gulbarga, Uttarkannada in Karnataka, Anantapur, Nellore, Chitoor in Andhra Pradesh, Vellore in Tamil Nadu, and Thiruvananathapuram in Kerala.
