Admin to tighten noose around illegal mining, transportation

Ranchi Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate, Chhavi Ranjan has issued directions to check prevention of illegal mining/storage/transportation in mission mode. The DC has issued necessary directions to District Transport Officer, District Mining Officer, Sub-Divisional Officer Sadar and Bundu, Deputy Superintendent of Police Bundu, Deputy Superintendent of Police Bero, Khalari and Silli in this regard.

The District Transport Officer has been asked by the Deputy Commissioner to ensure action in mission mode for the prevention of transportation of vehicles without number plates, unclear numbers, and unreadable numbers transporting mines.

The DC issued the directions after there was a report that transportation of coal and other minerals from big trucks is going on unabated during nights on Ranchi-Daltonganj main road and also on the roads of capital Ranchi.
