Adani signs agreements to develop airports at Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Mangalore
MUMBAI: The Adani Group Friday said it has signed agreements with the Airports Authority of India (AAI) for developing and running airports at Ahmedabad, Mangalore and Lucknow.
“Over the past 30 years, @AdaniOnline has catered to critical demand gaps in India. Today as we sign the concession agreements for Mangaluru, Lucknow & A’bad with @AAI_Official, its the beginning of another historic journey catering to India’s exponential airport infra demands,” chairman of the conglomerate Gautam Adani said in a tweet on Friday.
The concession period is 50 years from the commencement of commercial operations.
The Adani Group in 2018 won competitive bids to develop and run airports at Jaipur, Trivandrum and Guwahati in addition to the three for which is signed pacts on Friday.
